Nikon are onto a winner with thi camera

I moved from DX to FX going from the D7100 (an excellent DX camera) to the D610, handling and control pretty much the same. Forget the issues you heard about with the D600 and oil on the sensor, it has been fixed with this model.

FX; pro body; excellent low light performance; DX/FX switch

Can be pricey moving to FX if you only have DX lenses

Nikon D610

The D610 is the D600 for all photographic purposes. Image-quality is identical with very slightly improved AWB and speed. Truly, these changes are minimal. The D600 being an excellent DSLR, so is the D610 without a doubt. The Nikon D610 essentially replaces the D600 with an identical twin.

Class-leading image noise; Class-leading dynamic-range; Good color-accuracy after tweaking; Speedy autofocus; Generally fast and responsive; Ultra-short black-out; Flexible self-timer and exposure delay; Very sharp LCD; Highly customizable with plenty of controls; Dual memory cards can provide...

Under-exposure more frequent than usual; Light entering OVF skews metering; Increased softness at ISO 3200; Strong anti-alias filter; EC button placement not ideal; Indistinct ISO button; Poor Live-view; not Exposure-Priority; Bizarre Auto ISO; Exposure Delay mode hidden in menu; No 16:9 guidelines...

Nikon D610 Review

As I have pointed out in the beginning of this review, the Nikon D610 is what the D600 should have been when it was initially launched. Without fully acknowledging the dust issue on the D600, Nikon released the D610 as if it was a whole different camera.

Amazing DSLR worth its price

First of all lets look about its specifications: -It has a 24.3 MP cmos sensor . My Views Its a great camera. Great for professionals.According to my budget I had chosen two dslr. First is Nikon D610 and the other was D7100. But after trying both the dslr I settled for D610.

Great Full Frame DSLR

The issues that were present in the D600 have been amended in the D610 along with a slight increase in resolution. The D610 offers those who are making the jump to full frame an easy transition from the APSC format.

"NIKON D610 EXCEEDING ALL EXPECTATIONS"

A NON-TECHIE REVIEW If you want to read all about the many technical details of the Nikon D610, this review is not for you. Several impressively sized books on the subject are available, the one that I purchased, just after getting the camera, manages to baffle rather than de-bunk whilst the...

NIKON D610 DSLR Camera - Body Only

The camera was replaced after one week due to spots on the sensor; The replacement after 3 weeks of use is in a worse condition with over 30 spots on the sensor ( possibly oil ); Only one lens has been fitted to the body since new, therefore the contamination is from an internal source.

Nikon D610 Review

The Nikon D610 offers the same professional image quality that you'd find in a camera many times its price. For that reason alone, it's an excellent choice for those who need professional-quality images, but aren't quite ready to splurge on the more expensive options out there.

A good price puts professional image quality in reach for budget-conscious shooters

Battery life is below average

This is an excellent camera, arguably offering more bang-for-your-buck than any other full-frame DSLR. It doesn't have the image resolution of the D800, but it has more manageable file sizes, a faster shooting speed and two custom user modes.
