Excellent Wildlife Photography

This camera is fantastic for bird photography, which is what I do primarily. I am also able to use it to photograph families and landscapes as well, but the camera definitely is built for capturing animals on the move. Love it!

Awesome Camera

Finally upgraded from my D300 to the D500. The camera is awesome! The new sensor, camera burst capability with a XQD card, the addition of Blu Tooth and Wifi equip the camera with an unbelievable depth of capability!

Too many to list

Plan on purchasing a 3rd Party book to become proficient with the cameras capabilities

Great for an all-rounder, reach and travel. Accurate focus, high ISO range and lens adjustment feature has made my old Nikon AF-S 18-200G ED usable. My standard Sigma 17-50 f2.8 is now ultra sharp. Previous D200 and D7000 were ok with the Sigma but often soft with the 18-200.

D500 Everything I expected

Since the early 1980s I was a Canon person. I used a Canon New F1 as my primary wildlife camera(film) with a 400 mm Canon prime lens. As digital photography started to explode at the turn of the century (early2000s) I tried to keep up by investing in superZoom all-in -one cameras also Canons.

Great camera

Still getting used to using the D500. Coupled with the 200-500 Nikon lens, I've had some very pleasing results thus far. The kit lens has also produced some outstanding photos. Very good service from JL using click and collect from Waitrose.

Excellent camera.

A great Fathers day deal bundle, I snapped on my 200-500mm f/5.6 and went to looking birds of prey In the everglades. I mow use the D500 for more than just wildlife, I've been photographing the local triathlons In my state/Florida and other sporting events Involving my children.
