Exquisite camera

This is an Ideal for capturing everyday moments, this digital compact camera. I am very excited; it came loaded with a plethora of functions to play with. The Easy Auto Mode automatically selects the right settings based on the shooting environment to give me the best shot.

Small Wonder

The best thing about this camera is it's versatility. It does a lot of things well: Zoom range is amaizing, all you could want. The ability to go completely Manual is also welcome. It handles low light without too much noise.

Easy To Use; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; Good in Low Light; Great Zoom; Large Clear LCD

Short Battery Life; Slow focus

The Nikon Coolpix P520 is going to offer a 42X optical zoom lens with a maximum telephoto setting of 1000mm. This is a very impressive feature that you aren't going to find on a lot of cameras. There are some aspects of the that aren't able to match its other high-end features, though.

Nikon Coolpix P520

Love the camera - the only issues is that it takes way to long to snap a picture other than that it is great. The zoom is amazing as well as the stabilization features

Zoom Stabilization

Takes too long when you snap a picture for the picture to actually take

Nikon rests on its laurels as the competition zooms on by.

While it didn't fare very well in low light, we're still impressed with the Nikon P520 on the whole. Just as impressed, in fact, as we were with the earlier P510. For habitual bright-light shooters-the sort who spend their weekends shooting t-ball games and soccer practices-the P520 is an extremely...

The Nikon Coolpix P520 was announced in January 2013 and is a bridge camera with a 42x optical zoom lens, 18 megapixel backlit COMS sensor and a 3.2 inch vari-angle LCD screen.

42x optical zoom lens; Vari-angle LCD monitor; Full 1080p HD movie recording with stereo sound; Built-in GPS; 1cm minimum focusing distance; Auto HDR mode; Easy Panorama 360°/180°; 7 fps continuous shooting; Plenty of rubberised grip; Decent image quality and colour reproduction; Two year warranty

EVF is quite small and has a low resolution; Battery life expectancy is a little low; Slowish focusing and shutter response; Purple fringing and chromatic aberration in images when shooting at long lengths

Great Camera

I bought this to replace a previous Fuji Film point & shoot camera that died. I'm still learning many of the features on this camera. I took it out with me in the kayak today and got some fabulous pictures of a loon nesting. I had to Zoom in quite a ways to get some close ups of her.

Awsesome Pictures; Easy to use; Half To Cost Of Dslr; Light Weight
