A step up from Surface Pro 5. Clearer larger screen and faster
Upgraded from my Surface Go (Gen 1) and really enjoy the zippiness from startup to surfing the web to using office applications. I downloaded all of the updates on startup. The slim pen 2 is comfortable to use and very light. The 120Hz display makes note taking and artwork a very smooth experience with no lag. Pros: Fast, easy to carry and handle. Pen is amazing. Cons: Pen maybe a little noisier than the first gen pen when making contact with the screen, sounding more like the Apple Pencil on the glass. When pushed out can feel a little warm but not excessively. Used for 13 days.
- Compared to my previous Surface Pro 7 the Pro 8 is much more modern with thinner bezels and a nicer screen - The cooling system on the Pro 8 is far better and quieter than previous Surface designs. The Surface Pro 8 is able to power my dual 4K monitors with ease and no audible fan noise. My previous Surface Pro 7 sounded like it was going to take off. - Highly recommended super portable but powerful device.
This is the 2nd Surface Pro I have purchased. This time I went for the i7 256gb model. Would be good if the keyboard and pen was included and not a seperate cost. Great compact computer with a good variation of different hardware and excellent support from Microsoft.
Amazing device, absolute pleasure to use. Fantastic for drawing!
Perfect device for daily office works. Happy to have it.
