Microsoft Surface Pro With LTE Advanced

If you can do without the LTE service and are looking to save some cash, the Editors' Choice Dell Inspiron 13 7000 (7378) is a sound alternative. If you really want to slash prices, the Acer Switch 3 is an excellent, affordable detachable 2-in-1.

Speedy 4G LTE service from major wireless carriers; SIM and eSIM card support; Sleek, portable design; Top-notch display; Well-designed kickstand and keyboard

Type Cover and Pen sold separately; Not as many configuration options as the non-LTE version

Surface Pro With LTE Advanced

Editors' note: This is a hands-on review of the new LTE-enabled version of the Surface Pro ( $652.00 at Amazon.com ) . A more in-depth look at the current-gen Surface Pro hardware is in our full review .

The best-in-class Surface Pro keeps all its best features; and adds an LTE antenna for always on internet connectivity

Only two consumer configurations are available with LTE; the excellent keyboard cover and Surface Pen are still sold separately

Microsoft Surface Pro review: the new normal

In Microsoft's relatively young hardware division, the Surface Pro has always stood for what the company believes is the future of personal computing. Originally billed as "the tablet that can replace your laptop," it straddles the line between a traditional computer and something different.

Full PC performance in a thin and light design; Silent or no fans and little to no heat; Battery life is finally good enough

Limited ports with no USB Type-C; Still kind of awkward on a lap; Pen is no longer included; now costs $99 extra; Wow; this thing is getting expensive

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking to move away from Apple so was quite nervous. It takes a while to get used to the new features and you really do need a keyboard or pen as it is quite difficult to use without these. I love the size of the the screen and the way it conects to my Samsung.

Microsoft Surface Pro

Microsoft's says its Surface Pro is the company's shot at the tablet market, and aimed specifically at the business sector. While the latter may be true, we think that this device is more of a PC squeezed into a tablet with an under-$1000 price tag.

Goondu review: Microsoft Surface Pro

It seemed so long ago that I first laid my eyes on the Microsoft Surface, the company's first branded laptop that aims to showcase what Windows can do for mobile computing. It was something different, revolutionary even, from the design aesthetics to the practical use of the cover cum keyboard.

i5, 4gb ram version performance not good

Overall built quality is good, however if you get a 4gb ram version, then performance wise its not good, there will be alot of high disk and ram usage, i will now go for 8gb ram version,
