It's good, but not that good...

Looks lovely, and you'll feel cool walking around with it but.... High res screen lovely ... except you'll probably want to have a monitor as it is very small for the resolution. Screen hinge ... looks cool but actually is annoying with the limited tilt (approx 100 dgs) Detachable lid ...

Absolutely love this product- great buy

I am an Architect student and I hesitated to switch from my MacBook Pro to this but I took the plunge. I've had this for almost two months and so far no complaints. I loved my MacBook Pro, but I really love the functionality of the Surface Book; Perfect for rendering designs/drawings.

Surface Book 2 (13.5-inch) review: It's still super sleek, it's still super expensive

As an update to the original, the Surface Book 2 makes some neat nips and tucks - mainly under the skin, with improved power and performance - that add up to make this Microsoft a seriously powerful contender for Apple's MacBook Pro.

Great muscle-wire release system to separate laptop and screen into two parts for versatile use; Oodles on power on tap; Solid design

It's rather heavy; Big price tag; Combined battery life is less than quoted; A little top-heavy and upright; Screen lacks ultra-wide colour gamut

I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.

I love this product. I especially like that it's a laptop or a tablet. I have had no issues with disconnecting or reconnecting. The display is great and the underlit keyboard is great for when I'm in darker areas. I also love that it has a front and rear facing camera.

Surface Book 2 review: Clean Looks, Clean Power, Dirty Secret

These days, looks are probably the biggest point of difference offered by each brand - and Microsoft’s Surface hardware has always been exceptional at accentuating that difference. Put more bluntly, the Surface range is really nice to look at. Sure, the performance found in the company’s flagship foray into convertibles has also been really good too. However, it’s the slick and distinctive design sensibilities that’s helped the Surface range cut through the competition.

The Surface Book 2 is a product for a very specific kind of person. The kind of person who digs the glamor of the Surface range but needs more grunt than is offered by the other options on the table.

Great aesthetics; Solid battery life;

Battery drain issues; Too big to realistically use as a tablet;
