Although the Microsoft All-In-One Media Keyboard would work okay as a portable keyboard for work purposes, it clearly isn't its intended use. For navigating around a media system or smarthome setup, it will be perfect. At this price it is a really good deal.

I went through 2 as my HTPC controller, if you like getting up walking all the way over to your PC to unplug the dongle every 5 minutes then this is the keyboard combo for you! I will never buy hardware with "Microsoft" on it again.

The Microsoft All-in-One Media keyboard has a built-in touchpad, and is ideal for those who want one device to control their media PC. You can even control your smart TV, although you'll have to make sure it's compatible with USB HID keyboards.

Like others, I bought this to replace a Logitech K400, which suffers from the worst keyboard layout in the history of computing. The keyboard layout on this is much better, but a slew of other issues make the keyboard unusable for me.

I\'ll be honest and say that I use my Digital Media Pro Keyboard mainly whilst at work, (not at home), but I reckon that will help me give a much more reliable review as I end up using it every day for potentially hours on end.
