So fun watching my granddaughter being introduced to this game. She is still working to understand the buttons but learning quickly.

Just as with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , Nintendo has somehow managed to create another game that goes above and beyond all expectation. Not only is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe good, it's unbelievably good for something that essentially amounts to a refreshed release of a three-year-old title.

When we reviewed Mario Kart 8 back around its release on Wii U, it's fair to say that we liked it a lot . Now it's back in a new Deluxe package on the Switch, and Nintendo's flagship racer is in better shape than it has ever been before.

Opting for enhanced and expanded deluxe / director's cut / remastered / Game of the Year editions of last-gen games is a well-worn tactic in the early days of a new console. Some of the most enjoyable games on PS4 and Xbox One are high quality re-releases, taking a top-notch title and sprucing it up...

There'll be arguments about what's a fitting price tag for what is at heart a port, but all that's moot in the face of what remains one of the most exquisite video games in recent years.

Bought this with the Nintendo switch for my 10 year old girl and she loves playing it. I've never been a gaming person but I love playing this with my daughter. It's lots of fun and she loves beating me. Lots of different races to pick from and lots of different characters.

Excellent value for money, even at ￡42. The game was first released in 2014, and is still going strong. A must buy for multiplayer, parties, and online play. Single player for practice when you need it the most. Everyone should own this one in their game collection.

Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter as a digital download. Playing Mario kart on Christmas Day my daughter loved the game. I had a battle trying to get onto the the switch to play. The game is really good fun lots of challenges to keep you busy. The courses are provides a variety to users.

I am older for playing video games. This game is a blast, but it does take some getting used to. Putting it up on the big television almost makes it seem like you are in the game. Graphics are great and pretty easy play.

Very enjoyable game to play with friends and family, plus great for kids. I have been a fan of Mario kart since the Super Nintendo version and it's even more fun to play now.
