Mario Kart 8 was without a doubt one of the best games to release on the Wii U and now it has been improved on even further on Nintendo Switch. The game performs better than it ever has, this time with a crisper look that really shines both in docked and handheld forms.

I've loved Mario Kart for over 20 years, but with every new console generation I've had to buy it twice. One to play on the home console, and another for the portable to enjoy on school lunch breaks and work commutes.

Some will want a brand-new Mario Kart on Switch

We bought the whole switch system JUST for this game. Our family always enjoyed playing Mario Cart on the Wii, but once ll TVs went HD, the blurry screens from the non-HD game system gave us headaches, so when the new switch system came out, we were super excited.

We've played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, and while this deluxe version merely develops the title, the result is the slickest and most feature packed version yet - another must have title for the Switch!

Great game, awesome new tracks and revamped old tracks. Easier to play than the old one. Great new features. Whole family loves it.

Bought this with the Nintendo switch for my 10 year old girl and she loves playing it. I've never been a gaming person but I love playing this with my daughter. It's lots of fun and she loves beating me. Lots of different races to pick from and lots of different characters.

My 32 year old son wanted this game with a Nintendo Switch after playing it on his cousins. So I picked them up for him for the holidays. This was the first game he wanted for it, it's a favorite!

This is great game to enjoy with friends in person or virtually. A must have game for the Switch.

So fun watching my granddaughter being introduced to this game. She is still working to understand the buttons but learning quickly.
