Mad Max Xbox One

High excitement. Great graphics. My son says it's like being IN the movie. It is his favorite game so far.

Mad Max Review

Mad Max does a whole lot of things right. The vehicular combat will easily satisfy a ton of people, with its bombastic action hitting all the right notes from the movies. The world, its characters, and the overall atmosphere are all spot on, presenting a true Mad Max experience from top to bottom.

Mad Max Review

I set off into the desolate wastes, my thunderpoon in hand. Was I inside some twisted post-apocalyptic Dr. Seuss nightmare Facing off against characters named Scrotus, Rim Jobbie, and Cock Locka.

Fun unlockable melee abilities; Car combat is fun; Interesting stronghold side stories; Interesting post-apocalyptic landmarks to explore

Review: Mad Max

Mad Max is a mish-mash of ideas from some of the best games released in recent years, but it doesn't do anything as well as those games. Still, there's fun to be had here with Max's journey through the Wasteland, just don't expect to want to come back when you're done.

Mad Max (PS4) Review

Overall, Mad Max was a great game experience. I don't see the game lasting a casual player more than a couple of weeks, but if you're hardcore and going for 100 percent completion, expect things to take you a decent length of time; not to mention the numerous customization options for the Magnum...

Mad Max (PlayStation 4) Review

A Mad Max open world game, the massive wastelands filled with roving bands of psychotic killers, skipping souped-up cars over the dunes, and then jumping out to take part in brutal hand-to-hand combat

This wasteland needs some renovations - Mad Max review

Open-world video games have been very prevalent in the past few years. They are a great way to bring life to a bustling world to quickly entrench the player. One of the newest games to hop onto the open-world train is Mad Max, developed by Avalanche Studios, who you may know as the guys behind the...

Visual design is incredible; Features some rather enjoyable characters; Vehicular combat provides a thrill or two

Lazy mission design disappoints at every turn; Frame-rate issues plague otherwise wonderful visual; Hand-to-hand combat is derivative; Max is a terrible main character; Story seems non-existent

Mad Max review

If only our Aussie hero wasn’t holding the Magnum Opus back, then Mad Max would be a smash from start to finish. As it stands, the game is left in the shadow of its contemporaries, with a formula that ever so slightly misses the mark.

Riding round in the Magnum Opus; A desert sprawl to explore; Adds to a famous filmic lore;

Combat gets repetitive;
