I must admit that open-world games set in wastelands sound a bit unappealing, but if a development team has the talent, it's possible for them to create a well realised world that is distinctive when compared to many other open-world games.

I'm about 40 hours in and I'm loving every moment. In particular, it's visually SPECTACULAR. Thankfully they've included a photo mode, removing the HUD and letting you move the camera at will, because I can't stop taking screenshots like I'm a tourist. My eyes can't believe what I'm seeing.
