There doesn't seem to be much bass with this no matter how I adjust things and if I use headphones there is no bass at all.

The sound is distortion free, and so is the bass. I have bought two from mightyape.They are so good that I damaged my MacBook Pro because of it's bass vibrating my mechanical disk.
I bought them from mightyape and they are a set of good looking and powerful speakers. Perfect if you like playing games and watching movies on PC.
These speakers look great and the sound is even better. I've bought them by recommendation, and now recommend them myself. I work at an electronics store and they're the speakers I sell the most of, since nothing else really compares to their quality. Even if you don't like pounding bass, the clarity is great, and it's good to know that even if you crank it up, it's not going to distort or break over a good night's use.
I really like these I just upgraded from my 506logitech speakers and they are much better thanks mighty ape cheaper than any other store round:)

Awesomne sound & Killer Bass! BUT... The On/Off switch is faulty and causes a crackling sound when turned on. I need to press in & out 5 or 6 times before it comes right.
Computer technologies race forwards at dizzying speeds, but loudspeaker design hasn't changed much in the past 100 years. It's hardly surprising, then, that PC systems rarely include speakers, leaving you to choose your own or stick with your old ones.
