Logitech MX Ergo Wireless trackball mouse review

Few things in computing have stayed quite as consistent as the keyboard and mouse. With each passing year monitors reach ever higher resolutions and framerates, graphics cards pack in more and more teraflops of graphical horsepower, and CPUs add more cores and greater clockspeeds.

Comfortable design; Accurate trackball; Plenty of additional buttons; Unifying receiver and Bluetooth support

No left-handed version; Tilt options are limited

A must have for people with RSI

I bought this to help combat the strains of using a mouse at work every day and I have to say, it did not disappoint. I bought the cheaper Logitech mouse a few months ago and found it awkward and not really usefull at all so thought I'd try it's bigger (but more expensive) brother.

With its big rolypoly ball and huge hand rest, the venerable trackball mouse looks like a holdover from 1996. Or maybe 1946- that's the first time a trackball was used as an input device in a computer . Its popularity has waned since the introduction of the mouse and then the trackpad.

It has Bluetooth and an adjustable base

The ball is difficult to remove for cleaning

Fantastic trackerball

I recently bought this after my faithful m570 stopped and it's brilliant, couldn't go back to a mouse and I love how it's rechargeable and easy to use and fits in hand nicely

Quite different to previous models

I've been using this style of Logitech trackballs for 15 years! This one is quite different - it has a heavy magnetic base, that allows for different hand positions. Nice that it's finally bluetooth and doesn't require a dongle.

Why the Hell Would Anyone Use a Trackball Mouse

Logitech's first trackball in nearly ten years.

It has Bluetooth and an adjustable base

The ball is difficult to remove for cleaning

The best mouse ever

I have always enjoyed ergonomic mouses. I was super skeptical about purchasing this mouse because it was wireless and didn't look comfortable. my partner convinced me to get it. I am so glad that I did. It's super comfortable and love the precision mouse mode for more detailed movements.

Logitech MX Ergo review: Return of the track(ball)

Think back to the early-to-mid 90s, when PCs were taking the world by storm and becoming commonplace. Most of them looked the same: big beige boxes with clunky keyboards and wired mice.

Incredibly ergonomic; Fine-control switch is a godsend; Pairs to two devices

Takes time to get used to; Not ambidextrous; Fairly expensive

Anyone who works on the computer for at least eight hours a day will tell you how painful it can be using a mouse. Twisting and moving your hand for hours can be painful and tiring. Fortunately, using a trackball mouse can help alleviate the problem.
