I've used this headset for connecting to my computer via the USB connector and the bluetooth connection with my smartphone - works well and I've been told I'm very clear. This is much more comfortable for back to back conference calls than an in ear blue tooth headset.
I love this headset it is what makes it possible for me to make my youtube videos.
Product is comfortable, has good sound, and connected with my Bluetooth, freeing up a usb port. It also charges with the pc powersharing port, so the pc need not be on.
I use this headset every single day. The Comfort, Battery Life, and Range are Superb. I use the Bluetooth with my Cell Phone and the Wireless with my laptop. When ever I have a caller I simply switch it to Bluetooth wait 5 seconds and the headset is connected.
Logitech is known for providing the right kind of accessories for your desktop and laptop but with H800 Logitech aims at capturing other devices as well like smartphone and tabs. H800 Wireless Headset is a Bluetooth-enabled headset which comes with a built-in microphone .
Battery Life; Connectivity Range; User friendly
Average Build Quality; Price Unjustifiable
It's tough nowadays to find a good pair of headphones that you can use for a myriad of things like listening to music, watching movies, or even talking on the phone or via video chat.
Clear audio and great sound over bluetooth; many headset controls; various connectivity options; solid build
Sub-par audio output with USB receiver on PC's; no noise cancellation while listening to music; video; or calls
Blue tooth not completely compatible with Google Nexus phone. Begin/end call feature does not work.
I'm returing the HD800 to the vendor. It is by no means a replacement for my previous Logitech headset. The cushions are flat and squeeze the ears. The sound quality is poor. There's also no indication that the microphone is on mute.
Headphones is a very subjective category, especially if you decide to go wireless. Audiophiles will crib about the loss in audio quality, lag and distortion caused while moving around, and due to external interference.
Consistent audio; Comfortable; Good range (30-35 feet; Pair up to 7 Bluetooth devices
Audio distorts at high frequencies and at high volumes; Flimsy plastiky build; Expensive
