Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Review – Live Wire(less)

The Logitech G933 takes an exceptional headset in the G633 and makes it wireless; it's exactly the same in every other respect. An additional $50 is a reasonable amount to ask for flawless wireless capabilities on a headset that is already extremely comfortable and provides phenomenal sound.

Flawless wireless performance; Great sound; Very comfortable; Works on PCs; mobiles and consoles

Too bulky for easy transport

I've been enjoying a lot of the headsets that Logitech has put out in the past so I was pretty excited when Logitech sent me a pair of the Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum to try out.

Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Wireless Headset

In case we haven't made it clear yet, we love the G933. Sure, it's expensive, and sure, audiophiles will cry foul at its limited acoustic range, but we think focusing on those two drawbacks misses the point.

Awesome styling; great LED lighting effects; most comfortable headset we've ever used; incredible wireless range

Sound quality is just average; initial device connection in Windows is harder than it should be

Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum Review

Logitech's G933 Artemis Spectrum wireless gaming headset is an incredibly flexible accessory that easily justifies its $199.99 price tag. Its build quality and audio performance are excellent, and thanks to a combination of a wireless USB receiver and a selection of included wired connection options you can hook it up to your PC, mobile device, or nearly any game system easily. Plus, if you connect it to your PC, you can customize it with extensive EQ settings, game profiles, and even colored lighting. It beats out the slightly less expensive Skullcandy PLYR 1 and the pricier Astro Gaming A50 as our new Editors' Choice for gaming headsets. DesignWhen turned off and folded, the G933 looks like an imposing, futuristic set of over-ear headphones. The earcups and headband are entirely black plastic, with foam padding on the ears and under the headband covered in black cloth. The earpads are roughly rectangular, with the backs of the earcups shaped like uneven pentagons to create a st...

The Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum is a great-sounding, comfortable wireless gaming headset that supports a startling number of platforms.

Excellent sound quality; Sturdy, comfortable design; USB receiver and included cables can work with nearly any game system; Programmable colored lighting; Removable battery

Doesn't include a case or stand; Surround sound isn't effective in a headset

Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum review: Full featured gaming headphones

I've done a fair amount of headphone reviews here on the site and I love a fair amount of the headphones I've reviewed. This is the first pair of gaming headphones I've personally reviewed and they left me seriously impressed.

Stellar gaming sound; comfortable fit; nice RGB lighting; great software; lots of EQ possibilities

Big; bulky; heavy

G933 vs G930 from a long time G930 user

I've been rockin these Logitech G933 headphones for a few days now. I gotta say, they are a welcome upgrade to the G930s. They are worth $40-60 more, but neither will disappoint. The upshot to the G930s are that you can find them on refurb much cheaper. I got a few sets for $30 each awhile back.

Vastly better battery life (by like twice the G930) Much better cords and dongle design Configurable lighting (colors; pattern; effects) Multiple input streams and can handle phone calls from your cell as well as voice on consoles (max 3 streams) Improved Gkeys and placement 7.1 and DTS support,...

Slightly less comfortable than the G930 (maybe just need to be broken in though; particularly when folded around your neck) Maybe not quite as loud as the G930 at max (probably for the best; or my extended use of the G930s have deafened me some...

"I've had this headset for a while now"

I have both the G933 and the G633 and compared them side by side and I have found some recurring issues with these headsets. Yes this headset definitely shines in audio quality but is let down my it's lack of quality materials.

These sound AWESOME!

A bit on the large size but name a good gaming headset that isn't. The sound is by far the best I've experienced on any wireless headset and I've received many compliments on the clarity of the mic. Battery usage is as advertised if not better. I recommend these.
