A lot of people are looking for a gaming mouse that has improved sensors, smartly-positioned LEDs, and adjustable weights. If you’re one of these people, then our Logitech G502 Hero review has got you covered. The Logitech G502 Hero is an outstanding wired gaming mouse.
I'm awarding the Logitech G502 Proteus Core our performance award due to its outstanding execution throughout our gaming tasks.
falls right in the middle of the spectrum of gaming mice, and as long as your hands aren't too large and you don't mind a temperamental scroll wheel, it's a solid addition to any serious gamer's lineup of PC peripherals.
Logitech says its G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse delivers "unprecedented levels of customization." That's not just marketing hype.
The Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a another strong Gaming mouse from Logitech, although I have to admit it isn't quite as good as I thought it was going to be, maybe I was expecting a little to much. Don't get me wrong the G502 is a very good Gaming mouse it's just necessarily not one of the best.
KitGuru Says: The Logitech G502 Proteus Core has the best gaming sensor on the market, though whether you actually need it will be open for debate.
Most sensitive mouse available right now; perfect for 4K gamers; Heavy; so may suit bigger handed gamers; Excellent software package is easy to use; Comfortable once you get used to it; Solid build quality; Bundled customisable weights; High quality braided cable
Scroll wheel is either overly loud; or requires too much micro management; It is a bit heavy for smaller handed gamers; Sensitivity could be considered too high by many
Having only been available for a few weeks, we're surprised by how many people have bought Logitech's new G502 Proteus Core and perhaps even more by the fact that few seem anything less than enthralled, whether by its style, specs or simply its badass name.
Between its comfortable layout; 4K-friendly 12,000 DPI; surface calibration software and its sub-$100 price tag; the G502 seems like Logitech's new go-to enthusiast mouse
Its cord is no trouble but the G502 isn't wireless and that could be a con for you; It may also sit a little low for someone with a large hand and a preference for the palm grip
The Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse is definitely a great option for PC gamers!
The updated G502 is one of the best-designed and fullest-featured gaming mice we've tested, now with RGB lighting and a price that socks many other high-end mice.
Lighting is sync-able with that of Logitech Spectrum keyboards; 11 buttons; Customizable weight
Design not ambidextrous
