Arguably one of the best out there

I read plenty of reviews from prof. gamers and decided to give it a shot. Very glad I did. Solid mouse, highly customizable, and accurate movements. Use it for a few days, then try to play with weights, etc. Repeat after a couple of weeks and you'll find it feels even better.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core Gaming Mouse

There's just no doubt about it - the G502 is a fantastic mouse, and will likely appeal to a greater number of gamers than just about any mouse on the market today. But in so doing, it will likely be the very best option for few if any gamers, as its design is clearly intended to be a compromise,...

Fantastic performance; shape provides an ideal compromise for most users; great weight, sensitivity, and scroll customization options

Rough bottom surface and poorly distributed feet lead to drag; "sniper" button easily hit by mistake

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum does everything a perfect mouse should do. It's highly customisable, it looks good, works flawlessly and it is durable.

Good ergonomics Highly customisable Feels comfortable while using Plenty of programmable inputs Variable sensitivity adjustment Durable cable Appealing design Software interface is very effective for tuning

Teflon stands may wear off Scroll wheel too sensitive Cable may feel too heavy

Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum REVIEW – Evolution of a fan favorite

Logitech' G502 Core mouse is really popular. It even has its own questionably named subreddit . It makes sense that Logitech would want to iterate and improve on it. That brings us to the G502 Proteus Spectrum.

Logitech G502 Hero

As you might have guessed from the name, the Logitech G502 Hero is a slightly fancier version of Logitech's classic £50 / $50 G502 gaming mouse . For an extra £30 / $30 , you can bag yourself a 16000 DPI sensor as opposed to a 12000 one, left and right clickers with a 50 million click endurance...

Scroll wheel broke within the first week and now it freewheels like fidget spinner. Useless.

Logitech G502 Hero

The G502 Hero's design is a bit overcomplicated, but it's still the go-to heavy palm grip mouse with a new, even better sensor.

Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse Review

falls right in the middle of the spectrum of gaming mice, and as long as your hands aren't too large and you don't mind a temperamental scroll wheel, it's a solid addition to any serious gamer's lineup of PC peripherals.

Logitech G502 Hero review: A slight improvement on an old standard

Logitech didn't change much with the G502 Hero, but it didn't have to. For three years I kept some variation of the G502 on my desk, swapping it out for reviews but always returning to it afterward.

However, if you are already a proud user of Logitech's G502 mouse, there isn't enough of an upgrade to justify the cost, unless you want to experience the HERO 16K sensor, and want to have the best of everything when it comes to gaming.
