Lenovo Tab P11 Pro review

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro tries to be many things at once: a laptop replacement, an excellent tablet and more. In some of these ambitions it fails, but where it succeeds it does so with aplomb. For the price, this is among the best media tablets on the market today.

Lovely high definition OLED display; Loud quad-speakers; Oodles of battery life;

Quirks and bugs in many apps; Poor app availability; Weak camera

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro review

The biggest failings of the Tab P11 Pro aren't Lenovo's fault but Android's and by extension Google's. Iffy software troubles muddy an otherwise premium and versatile tablet experience.

Great build quality and design; Versatile functionality; Solid battery life; Superb display;

Android isn't great on tablets; Key accessories cost extra; No headphone jack; Underpowered;

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro review: Great hardware sabotaged by Android

It’s hard to make a case for Android tablets these days, especially if they cost more than a few hundred dollars. Sure, some companies make stylish tablets with beautiful displays and top-tier performance, but they’re still held back by Android — which is awesome on phones, but not so great on tablets. Lenovo, however, thinks it has cracked the code with the new Lenovo Tab P11 Pro. There’s no denying it: The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is a stunner. It’s thin, has a beautiful edge-to-edge display, and boasts solid performance thanks to the Snapdragon 730G. At first glance, it seriously makes a case for itself as a slightly cheaper alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, which is our top pick for Android tablets. Ultimately, though, the Android experience is best-suited to the smartphone, and Lenovo fails to change that. Here are our thoughts on the device. Lenovo seems to have nailed the design aspect of its tablets. The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is sleek and stylish, looks modern thanks to its edge...

Stunning design; Excellent accessories; Solid performance; Excellent battery;

Subpar software experience; Android apps on tablets are terrible; Middling camera;

Lenovo Tab P11 11" FHD Iron Gray ZA7R0233AU review

The Lenovo Tab P11 is the standard version of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro that was announced last year. The Tab comes in a nice and decent body design that features enough inbuilt storage and a big battery. The Lenovo Tab P11 comes in a nice body that is built with plastic and it also has Stylus support.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro review: All-in-one but not for all?

Looking for an Android tablet? Lenovo's top tier device is cheaper than a Samsung alternative and does a great job as a slate thanks to its OLED screen. Looking for a laptop replacement though? Then we'd look elsewhere, as Android still isn't up to task for productivity, while the keyboard accessory here is hollow feeling and not quite on par. So it's all a case of what you're looking for: the Tab P11 Pro gets a thumbs up as a straightforard slate, but a thumbs down as a laptop replacement.

Bright and high-resolution OLED display; Decent battery life for streaming sessions; Sturdy design and build - slimmer than most flagship mobile phones; Strong sound profile;

Android just not best optimised for tablet productivity; Awkward power button position; Keyboard accessory feels hollow and isn't the best going; No 3.5mm jack;

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Review

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is an intriguing Android alternative to Apple's iPad Air ($599.99). Starting at $499.99, the tablet has a lovely OLED display, excellent speakers, and solid battery life. However, it only has a midrange processor, and its optional Keyboard Pack and Precision Pen 2 are serviceable but not impressive. That makes it good for media consumption and doodling, but not so much for productivity. The iPad Air, with a superior stylus and impressive processing power, remains our Editors' Choice winner.Easy on the Eyes  The Tab P11 Pro’s aesthetic veers far from the cheap, plasticky Android slates that dominate the market. At a glance, you could easily mistake it for an iPad Air or a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. It measures 10.4 by 6.8 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and weighs 17.1 ounces. Though the tablet can be used in either orientation, it works best in landscape mode with the magnetic kickstand that comes with the optional keyboard. Compared with the kickstands you find on Micr...

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro tablet has a beautiful OLED display and strong speakers for playing games and watching movies, but it's not ideal for productivity.

Gorgeous OLED display; Powerful speakers; Elegant design

Productivity Mode is awkward; Weak cameras; Poor LTE connectivity
