I don't normally do reviews, but when you buy a great product and get great service as well then you know you've done the right thing in buying it. The Lacie D2 is a great external hard-drive. So quiet it is just as well it has a blinking light or you wouldn't know it was there, it has such a small form factor. The product is o good that Lacie give a five year warranty, that's how much faith they have in their product and as for PBTech it is service as usual. Thanks for the quick supply and great price. Drive does exactly what it says on the box - fast transfer speeds, great capacity and looks good on the desk. Only minor gripe is that the blue LED light is very bright, and cannot be turned off or dimmed.

A great backup option for that peace of mind. Nice to have the recovery option also. Backups run very fast. Well worth paying the extra for a high quality product.

Had it for a few weeks now. Feel nice and does the job. The backup function works well. Just wish the big blue LED light could be smaller / less bright.
