This is my second LaCie external drive, the other being a somewhat older 4 TB. The drive is as quick as you'd expect a USB-C drive to be and the desktop footprint is not too big. Only two minor irritations (otherwise a 5 star rating) - the big blue flashing light on LaCie drives can be annoying. and this particular one always seems to give a "drive not ejected properly" error after a system shutdown / restart.

easy to set up and works well, much faster on USB-C than old external drive. Only complaint is the brightness and constant flashing of the blue drive light. highly recommend

Had two of these HDDs just recently. Both seem easy and capable to use. Recommended.

Wanted an external hard drive for my Macbook Pro and this has been good so far.
