top loader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i loved my old lg which this model replaced and had lasted me a very long time the reason i purchased this machine as had no trouble whatsoever with my old model however a little disappointed as I have been ending up with a fine white fluff on my othes and i clean the filters after every wash. i have never had this with my older version. wondering if anyone else has the same problem. Also loved the fold up lud woth the older one as I have a dryer abovd and have to hold the top up while loading and unloading. When you want uo add clothes once it is already going yoh have to restart it whereas beford i used to clise yhe lid and it would continue.

Perfect top load washing machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nowadays front load washing machines are more common to choose. But personally I prefer top loader after using front loaders for many years due to a few things including a rinse with adequate water and removing dusts while a cycle. For those purpose this machine satisfied me very well and I have had no issue with this after using more than 6 months. Also the size great it is the best and maximum size (I believe) in most renting houses in Australia. Highly recommended if you are a fan of top loader.

Overall Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I find this product to be very good. There is a big problem though in that the detergent dispenser is not adequate. Most washes require a capful of detergent. The detergent runs out of the dispenser almost immediately. This caused staining of some sheets before we realised the problem. We now either pause the machine to add the detergent, or mix the detergent in water before adding manually. Either way this is very inconvenient when you just want to set and forget before going to work.

Neat machine but not as good as my previous LG

I had an LG top loader with no agitator for 12+ years and it was wonderful so when I needed a new machine I went straight to the LG range again. This model is neat however it’s lacking a “favourites” button which was a great feature on the old machine. Most day to day loads are the same size however I find that if I let my new machine select the water level and spin etc there is never enough water so the clothes get all creased. Just take the time to select the cycles yourself and you won’t have any problems. Also....not sure who designed the new filters but they really lack functionality.....what happened to just pulling out the mesh filter......inverting it and giving it a good rinse and clicking it back in the machine. Overall it’s a neat little machine but not as good as they were previously

Programs missing

Love the lint filter and the quiet running of this machine. I should have researched it’s programs more thoroughly because I was very disappointed to find there is no Favourite program. I have to manually set it each time. Also no Soak function. I also thought the lack of an agitator would be more gentle on the clothes but instead they become as tangled as my mother’s old twin tub! Overall I’m quite disappointed with my purchase.
