LG G6 review

Well, I did it. I finally (after 1.5 years), updated from my Nexus 6P and decided on the LG G6 because it's a very good deal for the price. Love the smaller sized phone and that I can charge wirelessly again!

Great size; Love the display; Really good fingerprint scanner experience (so far; Wireless charging capabilities

Scratches easily

LG G6 review: a new way of looking at things

LG has had to withstand two strong blows with its last flagships. As we know the LG G5 has been far from a success, ending the good reputation the company had come to rely on since releasing the G3 or the G4.

Wide angle camera; Performance; Display

Small internal memory (32 GB; No Daydream; Large price tag

LG G6

The LG G6 is a decent flagship, with a functional design and nice camera. It's really an adequate phone as far as flagships are concerned. The only problem is, flagships should be more than just adequate.

IP68 Certified: Water and Dust proof; Ergonomic; Nice display

Sub-par performance; Battery life should be better

great camera, more personalization

I love the camera on this phone. The zoom does not effect the visibility of objects and they stay nice and clear from a fair distance. I had to search how to do some things that were easy on other phone but the handy quick help app was a great feature and very helpful.

When it comes to premium smartphones, LG is not the brand that easily makes it to the top of the list. The company's latest flagship smartphone ‘G6' tries to change that as it competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Google Pixel and Apple's iPhone 7 among others.

The LG G6 is an all no killer, no filler smartphone that sees LG going back to basics with resoundingly positive results. Any initial pangs of disappointment at seeing the G series' rogue instinct tamed to such a harsh degree in the design stakes are immediately swept away by the beauty of its...

LG G6 – Review

I've gone through some phases with my smartphones. I switched over to Android with the HTC Hero. It was then a succession of HTC handsets before I switched to a Samsung Galaxy device, but since then I've been firmly glued to an LG device.

It's hard not to feel just a little bad for the LG G6 , going up against the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ ( Review ). There was a brief window of time following the G6's launch announcement at MWC 2017 when it did get a bit of attention, but even then, everyone was more focused on Galaxy S8...

Actually launched earlier than the Galaxy S8, globally, the LG G6 has been often criticised of its last year's processor and the fact that the Galaxy S8 is probably the best smartphone right now. But all is not true. Know here why?

Compact Design; Sturdy Build Quality; Wide Angle Rear Camera; Decent Battery Life

Aesthetics could have been better; LG UI 6.0 is heavy

Best LG phone since the Nexus 5

This is the first LG device I have enjoyed since the Nexus 5 from years ago. Now we finally have an LG that exudes the build quality that comes with it's flagship status. Feels really great in the hand and actually feel like the premium device that it is. So far I don't have any real complaints.

Flat Screen; Great Display; Great Build Quality; Dust & Water Resistance; Unique Design; Minimal but balanced bezels; UI Speed

No Stereo Speakers; Older Gorilla Glass 3 for screen; No LED Notification Light
