Great screen; HDR10 and Dolby Vision Support; Impressive camera; Attractive design

Not the latest chipset; Android implementation not as slick as some

It's not the oddity that LG's past flagships have been, and it's arguably all the better for fitting in, but it also might struggle to stand out. For all the G5's flaws its modular design gave it something few phones could rival, with the G6 you're left with a competent – even compelling – handset,...

+ Great screen; + Polished design; + Dual-lens camera

- Dated processor; - Lacks innovation; - Low light photos could be better

The best you can get for £400

"This phone is giving me 16 hours before a charge and nearly 6 hours of screen time unbelievable. The camera is fantastic, was worried the screen would be to dull how wrong i was and the aspect ratio is a massive advantage "

Amazing Screen; Best camera you can get; Great sound if only mono; Those bezels or lack of; Waterproof and Dust proof; needs a case

The subtle curve of the corners, the ample performance, the way it just feels right in your hand. The G6 is a reminder that LG can make great smartphones when it isn't trying to make them modular.

Great phone - takes good pictures and as speedy as any other phone I've seen in everyday use (i.e. ignoring benchmarks). Good battery life too. Any it's an absolute steal at the price it's available for now.

LG G6 Review

The LG G6 is a beautiful handset that isbuilt with purpose: battery life, simplicity, beauty, durability, and reliability. LG has largely succeeded in achieving these goals into a solid handset that leads the way for a 2017 transition from 16:9 to 18:9 (2:1) display aspect ratio.

Large display in a reasonably sized chassis; Stunning and unique wide camera shots; Designed for life with water-resistance and shock awareness

Very good camera; but S7 and Pixel are ahead; Available feature set is different per region

LG G6 review: A solid flagship Android smartphone with a large screen in a small(er) package

Budget, mid-range, flagship smartphones… there are plenty of smartphone options out there these days. We've reviewed a number of LG smartphones in the past and our LG G6 review takes a look at one of the company's latest to see how it stands up to previous models.

Premium looking design; Great photo quality; Crisp; clear screen with HDR and Dolby Vision support; microSD card slot; Plenty of display customization; Theme support; IP68 rated; Plenty of camera options

A few uninstallable pre-installed apps; Not a lot of HDR content currently available

LG G6 Review: Price SLASHED! Now JUST $399.99

From a purely critical standpoint the LG G6, whichever way you slice it, just isn't as good or as impressive as its nearest and dearest peers and this fact alone makes it kind of hard to really fall in love with.

Great Display; Excellent Camera; Slim Profile; Large Range of Colour Options; Good Battery Life

Pricy; Running Old CPU Tech; Pedestrian Design

Terribly disappointed at this nap. My last two have been HTC's top models, and I've been very pleased with it until it was time to change (not because I was not happy with the phone without changing jobs etc.). This time it became a LG and the initial impression was positive.

LG G6 review: This affordable big screen business flagship doesn't compromise

The first G-branded phone was the LG G2 released in 2013. It wasn't until the LG G4 and the awesome leather back appeared that I seriously considered carrying one as my daily driver.

Large display in compact form factor; Outstanding camera performance; Water; dust; and shock resistant; Wireless charging; microSD expansion card slot; Solid battery life; Low price for a flagship phone
