The LG G6 is a phone that takes things back to basics, and does so well. The sleek metal and glass fusion is attractive, and to anyone using the iPhone 7 Plus , the ratio of screen to body will be staggering.
Great screen; Water-resistant body
Older chipset; Removable battery gone; Expensive for what's inside
FullVision display The LG G6 has a really big 5.7" QHD (2880x1440 pixels) Plus FullVision display. This elongated display has a 18:9 aspect ratio showing 564 pixels per inch, meaning that there is more room for text, browsing and gaming.
In the end, we're here to give the LG G6 its due. It's a very high quality phone, with a healthy feature set, excellent performance, great battery life and a beautifully efficient design. It fits 5.7 inches of screen real estate in the footprint of much larger legacy devices.
Gorgeous; thin bezel design; Beautiful 18:9 2880x1440 display; Excellent performance; Solid camera performance; Unique camera features; Good battery life
No wireless charging; LG's ominous legacy device boot loop issues; Pricey
The LG G6 is no doubt a striking smartphone. Metal and glass shimmer while the huge 18:9 screen is impressively brought to life with the improved software and its rounded corner design.
Great phone, build quality and screen 5 stars my only gripe is software updates android p will be out soon and my g6 is still on 7.0
Style/Design; Quality
This phone is severely underrated and has just about everything a casual or power user could want. - Performance; the Snapdragon 821 is a very respectable chip. It's not the newest or most efficient, but in actual use you'll never know.
The LG G6 is the best phone yet from a company that's kept innovating year after year. While its 18:9 HDR display might not be the biggest leap it's taken, the landing at the G6 is the best yet.
Excellent battery life; top build quality; screen crack resistance; very capable cameras
Third-party apps need screen ratio optimisation; 18:9 camera shots are at lower resolution
