The LG G6 finally offers something smartphones should have been offering for a long time: an edge-to-edge display, so it's hard to argue with LG when it claims it's the best screen on a handset right now. Prices are yet to be confirmed but we can expect it to be in the £500-600 region. µ
LG's G series has been getting better and better over the years. The modular G5 was an interesting phone that turned out to be great value once the price dropped (plummeted). Now here's the G6 which brings a spec sheet and features that aim to take on the best on the market.
Fast, Good battery, Good low light camera, Comfortable to hold; Great ergonomics, IP68 Waterproof
Selfie cam is poor; Audio quality is mediocre
The new G6 from LG marks a new design era for smartphones, and for LG, an important return to fundamentals. Gone are the gimmicks of old. There's no leather back, curved screen or modular components.
LG is on to a winner with its new G6 smartphones which offers the best of both worlds – a larger screen to enjoy your content within a small chassis that can still be used with one hand.
It's hard to stand out in the smartphone world, especially if your phone doesn't do anything unique. LG knows this and has never shied away from trying new ideas. It was one of the first companies to make use of curved screens , and last year, it released an insane smartphone with a " magic slot "...

For now, LG's modular plans are on hold. This was one of the major takeaways when the South Korean manufacturer debuted the LG G6 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year.
Well constructed with premium finish and feel; Great battery life; Solid multitasking
Power button placement odd at times; Camera a tad off now and then
Well, I did it. I finally (after 1.5 years), updated from my Nexus 6P and decided on the LG G6 because it's a very good deal for the price. Love the smaller sized phone and that I can charge wirelessly again!
Great size; Love the display; Really good fingerprint scanner experience (so far; Wireless charging capabilities
Scratches easily
I've now owned this phone for a week and I can say my experience has been a good one thus far. I would definitely recommend this phone for anyone who wants a top 5 phone at a price point that doesn't hurt your wallet.
USB-C quick charge; crisp display and slim form factor
Battery is average; front facing camera is okay but not great and internal memory could be better
