The game's technical problems notwithstanding, I found LEGO City Undercover to be an immensely enjoyable adventure that really made me laugh. It certainly has a lot going for it with a great story, funny script, creative originality and a design that makes no attempt to dumb anything down making it...

Through many games and IPs, the LEGO games have established themselves as accessible, fun and of a reasonable quality. Traveller's Tales turned what could have been a throwaway cash grab into a very successful franchise.

Lego City Undercover released way back in March 2014 for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, the Wii U version especially was held in high regard, largely been dubbed as the Grand Theft Auto for kids.

LEGO City Undercover is based on a fun-loving story that is accessible for younger gamers, yet peppered with references that will leave older gamers smiling at all times. The gameplay is lacking depth, the loading times are abysmal, and inconsistent frame-rates certainly mar the experience.
