When I first saw LEGO City Undercover , the first thing that came to mind was the music video for the Beastie Boys' Sabotage: fictional cops with over-the-top car chases, disguises, and ridiculous hair.

Lego video games are huge here at Family Friendly Gaming. So we were all very stoked to play and review Lego City Undercover. So much so that I was willing to pay two and a half times what I normally spend on a video game. I was worried that Nintendo may have injected too much input into this game.

I remember when the Wii U wasn't even announced yet that there was some excitement surrounding Nintendo's next console. One of the first games to be announced for the Wii U, LEGO City: Undercover was a game that I knew I would have absolutely no interest in.

My son played this at a friends house and begged for it! We ordered it online and he checked the mailbox 3 times a day! Ever since he got it , he and his friends play it and it's hysterical to hear them all getting into it yelling do this do that! They are 100% in it!

Fun To Play

My 11 year old and 8 year old son's got a Wii U for Christmas to share. As soon as they saw that there was going to be a new game in the LEGO series they wanted it, so they used their Christmas money to pre-order the LEGO City Undercover.

Chase McCain, the game's central protagonist, is a man of many talents. The most immediately obvious of them is his ability to deliver cheesy one-liners. He starts as he means to go on; it's an unrelenting stream of puns, gags and sarcastic quips.

LEGO City Undercover faces a burden unlike any previous LEGO game developed by Traveller's Tales. Not only is this production the first LEGO game by Traveller's Tales to not feature a major movie or comic book license, it's the first major Wii U game of 2013 – and the biggest release to come since...
