Not Bad

The scroll ring makes it much easier on the shoulder. A great way to combat RSI.

Ambidextrous design - smooth ball operation - small footprint - scroll ring (handy for viewing webpage or long documents - Inertia Scroll feature - great way to fight off RSI - rubber wrist-pad included

- too light; needs to be heavier - plastic housing gives it that cheap feel - rubber soles not grippy enough - scroll ring feels like it's grinding on another surface

Trackballs Rule

My Microsoft Thumb Ball died after 15 years. The Kensington was the perfect replacement at a good price. I have purchased three of these and they are very comfortable and convenient.

My wife is developing rheumatoid arthritis in her fingers and using a traditional mouse can be painful, but this trackball is so much easier for her as the can roll it with the palm of her hand and clisk with the heel of her thumb.

Kensington's Orbit Optical Mouse

A couple of months ago, I paid about thirty dollars for a Kensington Orbit Optical Mouse . This trackball mouse is one of the best input devices I've ever owned, or so I've discovered since I first attached it to my laptop. I hate laptop mice.

Kensington Orbit Trackball with Scroll Ring

Trackballs remain a niche product, partly due to the different set of mousing skills they supply, partly due to the price premium that most trackballs command and partly due to the lack of feature parity with even the cheapest mice.

Integrated scroll wheel works really well; Includes wrist rest; Ball can be juggled around for inspiration

Wrist rest may over-extend fingers; Scroll wheel feels a little loose; Still tethered by a cable

It does the job

Its too bad that the TrackBall Explorer is no longer being made. I wanted a trackball for a second computer and choose the Kensington because of the top mounted trackball and scroll capability. It works but will take time to "grow" on me.

Easy Connectivity; Fast Connection; Versatile

Flimsy

Sturdy - great w kids

this is a great product. really solid and more like a rubber tire thickness then a flimsy rubber. only thing that suprised me was that it is not solid across the back - it fits around the edges only - but it sits high enough off the ipad and is wide enough it really protects.
