Jabra Freeway Wireless In-Car Speakerphone Review

The Freeway is a compact Bluetooth speakerphone for use in the car. Touting features such as "3 speaker audio with virtual surround sound," it is very apparent the marketing team was drinking a bit of Kool-Aid when they created the data sheet for this guy.

Great Design; Ease of Use; Controls; Call Quality; Additional Functionality

A true hands free Bluetooth hands-free kit for your car When it comes to Bluetooth hands free kits, Jabra as a brand in India is quite reputable and we have seen quite a few iconic products coming from this brand in the past as well.

at first, I was very pleased. the sound is good, better than I expected. ...till I got on the hwy. I had to turn up the volume a bit so I could hear over the noise of the typical hwy noises. That's to be expected though. I do the same with the radio.

Jabra Freeway Review

These days, hours of traffic snarls make using of cellphones behind the wheel mandatory, even if it's frowned upon by the legal system in our country. Cradling a phone between your neck and shoulder isn't the most comfortable experience, and neither is it very safe.

Easy to setup; Crisp and loud audio; Simple bluetooth pairing process; Good build quality and great looks; Impressive battery backup; Voice feedback for battery level; incoming/outgoing calls and info

Clicking sound from the operating buttons; A bit of jarring at 100% sound level; Voice commands are rarely recognised at once

Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Speakerphone Review

Negative press associated with the practice operating a cell phone while driving-which is not only dangerous, but also illegal in many jurisdictions-has spurred a sales boom in the Bluetooth headset market.

Long battery life; great sound quality; and a wide range of feature

Expensive; and its form factor limits its utility to in-car use

Jabra have been known to do high quality bluetooth accessories in the past and now that I have my hands on another one of their products I was glad to review it. The packaging was very professional and the outside of the box looked good.

The Jabra Freeway also supports Bluetooth streaming, which means you can activate your phone's music player and have the audio streamed directly to the Freeway's speaker. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, the Freeway also has an FM transmitter mode which lets you use your car's audio system for...

Communicating with Freeway : Jabra Freeway

A popular American television series, appearing several years ago, was entitled Hart to Hart and featured a husband and wife crime fighting duo. I mention this because the couple had a dog named Freeway which is also the name of a new device from Jabra.

Jabra, a prominent name in the Bluetooth game, recently began offering a speakerphone system, the FREEWAY, through Amazon and other outlets. I had the chance to play with one of these over the last week and half and thought I would share my opinions of the device.
