JBL tried to do a bit too much with its flagship Quantum One gaming headset, offering programmable lighting, active noise cancellation, and simulated surround sound enhanced by head tracking in a $300, wired package. I purchased these headphones today, so excited to have a pair of quality headphones from a company known for their excellent sound production. I get home, charge them up, register them online, and download the Quantum Engine. It is recommended you update the firm ware. OK. Dongle updates and now for the head phones. Update error see website. Oh. Website unavailable. Right. Unplug this plug in that. Follow these steps. OK. Nothing worked. Guess what. Firmware error won't allow the headphones to pair or work at all. Spend over an hour and half trying to resolve the issue and they refuse to work in any capacity. You tried JBL. Better luck next time. I'll be taking them back tomorrow for a more reliable headphone brand. Thanks anyway.

These are such very good head phonicals and sound fantastic

This headset sounds great. People are complaining about the volume, I have found that while they don't blast your ears off, they are certainly loud enough especially with ANC. I also want my ears to keep working so damaging then isn't a priority. Make sure on a pc you change the speaker config to 7.1 or you are missing out. Downside. Can't charge and use at the same time.
