The light feature is nice especially if your outside at night and gathered around the pool. For small get togethers or parties it is a conversation piece and for the brave singers the mic is awesome. Volume for the mic is adjustable and it has an echo effect that is nice. You can plug in a guitar and attempt to play along with your favorite song. Overall this is a nice piece and I recommend it for anyone looking for a bluetooth box that has a lot of extras. Battery life is great I haven't had any issues with using it for an entire night and it still has life.

The buttons and dials are easy to turn and nice, quality rubber. A rubber gasket covers the output/input sites on the back. Easy to charge with 120v wall plug included. Easy to connect to Bluetooth by the push of a button to turn the speaker in search mode with your device. The included one microphone is wireless and fun to sing along or use the speaker as a PA system. Adjustable microphone volumes in comparison to music volume in addition to echo effect is adjustable. Overall, this is a fun and quality sound boom box for a house party, deck, lakeside, or your on the go adventures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a music lover in constant search of the best wireless speakers. I have owned the JBL Clip, Charge, Xtreme, Xtreme 2 and more. This new speaker is the "The Rock" of JBL's lineup. Purely amazing. Full, clear sound and thick, rumbling bass, while the two tweeters put out clean highs. The microphone actually came in handy at a cookoff we just held and everyone was asking about my amazing new speaker! For those of you who know and love JBL, this won't disappoint. The party light is a cool touch, as well. Excellent construction, as expected from JBL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this speaker a few days ago and because it's been getting cold, I've been primarily using it indoors when I workout and all I can say is wow... This speaker is pretty amazing for its sound quality - particularly it's bass. Also love that it has a little slot to place an iPad or tablet. My iPad is slightly larger than the slot, but I believe it is because my device is slightly older and longer than the newer versions (works fine vertically though). Also there is a tremendous amount of functionality that this speaker can do including using it to belt out your favorite toons or rocking it out with a guitar. I haven't been able to try to latter yet, but I trust that the quality is as good as the speaker quality with the wireless mic.
