If you plan to use it as bedside clock you will find that at night the display is very dim and cannot be changed. Furthermore, the display dims even more if the clock is viewed from below, as is the case when your head is on your pillow. During a sunny day the display is bright and readable, however it's very reflective and difficult to see from some angles. Also if you close the blinds to darken a room the display will automatically dim and becomes almost invisible.
