Intel's Core i7-9700K comes with eight cores, but lacks HyperThreading. In our testing, it still conclusively beats the 6-core/12-thread Core i7-8700K. The much more expensive Core i9-9900K is also under heavy attack: it seems the Core i7-9700K actually is the better gaming CPU.

Ive got a water cooled system, but this overclocks to 4.7Ghz without even hitting 50 degrees. its a thing of beauty.

Amazing gaming CPU that is very easy to overclock. This is the only CPU that I've had that doesn't bottleneck my RTX 2080Ti at 1440p 165Hz. It's an incredibly fast CPU and is not as difficult to cool as the 9900K.

I upgraded my PC with Core i7-9700K from Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge. What a huge difference I get and I'm so happy with it. I use the PC for editing videos most of time and I get a lot faster rendering results and faster previews. It finishes the same length of video rending about 30~35% faster.

Was sent sooner than the expected release date which was nice. I know the 9000 series have copped a bit of flak but this was definitely worth the extra $40 over the 8700K. It is a faster chip and despite the lack of HT performs better than the 8700K and better than the Ryzen 2700X in anything but...

Excellent great CPU for gaming, would recommend

The Core i7 9700K sits in between the six-core 9600K and flagship 9900K. Arguably it is a beast of a gaming processor, but at a price of $369 the 9600K with six cores seems to be the better deal I mean there's nothing wrong with this proc, but it does lack hyper-threading.
