"Good but packaging could be better"

Product as described but cpu box squashed upon opening. No padding or protection for something so fragile. Different/deeper box in padding guys for this stuff! And put fragile stickers on it!! Hopefully all ok and working.

Love it.

Paired with a 1060 6GB and it runs everything I've tossed at it at default clock speed. Not really into overclocking so I don't have an opinion on that.

The i5-8600K is a great choice for a high-end processor that won't burn too big of a hole in your wallet. Although I haven't benchmarked it, loading times and physics simulation for demanding games I've played (Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, Everspace, X-Com 2) are fast/reasonable.

Upgraded from a i7 3770 and seen quite a big difference in performance and overall smoothness. Would recommend.

Intel Core i5 8600K processor review

Intel's new Core i7 8700K managed to impress, the Core i5 8600k is, however, the more sensible solution for a gamer. For the multi-threading mongers however you will have to forfeit a little lacking Hyper-threading and the smaller L3 cache, that is measurable and noticeable on the overall...
