Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is an enjoyable action romp and a worthwhile expansion of the Breath of the Wild universe. Those hoping for a deep narrative expansion of the universe will be underwhelmed, but being able to spend more time with these wonderful characters is more than enough to leave you satisfied.

An enjoyable expansion of the Breath of the Wild universe; I loved spending more time with all of these characters; Combat is fast, fluid and filled with variety; Plenty of content across the campaign and side missions to enjoy;

Performance doesn’t keep up with the action at all; Not the fully fledged prequel narrative I was hoping for ;

I picked this game up on the day it released and I still in love with it they reused the map perfectly and with the 2hrs worth of cutscenes throughout the entire game it is perfect for any Zelda fan.

If you've played breath of the wild or hyrule warriors, you'll love this one. It's pretty heavy on the story compared to the first HW

Awesome prequel to the original botw, feeling the same but in a hyrule warriors slash and smash style. Great story that botw lacked.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is one of the best games out on the Switch right now. It's articulate yet easy to learn combat mechanics are some of the most fun you'll have on a video game console. As you progress your characters and their skills can be improved, and the extra destruction unleashed as a result is truly satisfying! The story is convincing and covers a lot of gaps from Breath of the Wild, making it fit perfectly as a prequel! Highly recommended.
