Besides some small issues like the large nature of the ear cups and microphone, coupled with its slightly heavy nature, the Kingston HyperX Cloud II is a headset well worth saving up an extra penny or two for. Go on, you won't regret it.

There is no better headphone at this price point other than HyperX Cloud II that gives a stunning virtual 7.1 channel surround sound experience.

Solid construction quality Super comfortable ear cups Loud speaker drivers with 60 Ohm impedance Natural sounds with no artificial boosting or attenuation Very great performance vs price ratio

Cable is a little short unless you are using the USB sound card

Pretty Damn Good

I was a bit skeptical at first buying one of these headsets due to the poor sound quality of the first build edition Cloud headset.... I do have to admit tho I am very glad I chose to pickup the Cloud II....

Kingston HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset Review

The is attractive for many reasons, including its modular and comfortable design, premium build quality, great 7.1 surround and stereo sound, and affordable price. It's also great for laptop gamers since it obviates the need for a dedicated sound card, and overall is one of the best headsets I've...

Audio heaven: HyperX Cloud II headset review

Many people forgot the importance of a good sound system. Hearing footsteps behind you, to just listening to rain falling, a great sound system can change how you view a game. The Kingston HyperX Cloud ll, is not only a fantastic headset, but may be a game-changer in the world of gaming headphones.

Great sound; Solid build; 7.1 sounds amazing on PC

PS4 and Xbox One do not get 7.1; Short cord if not using USB extension

Kingston HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset Review

Last year we took a look at Kingston's original HyperX Cloud Gaming headset and there really was not

– Built with quality materials; – Great sound and 7.1 virtual surround sound; – Removable microphone; – Comes with carrying case; – Can be used in stereo or USB mode; – 2 different sets of earcups included

– No control software for the sound card; – Need an adapter if you want to use it in stereo mode with a PC and be able to use the microphone

This headset is very comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is fantastic! It does not have "active" noise cancellation, however, the passive isolation is very good. One problem I have though, is that the product description says this also comes with the velour ear pads, but I did not receive...

Great sound but mic issues with Windows 10.

Excellent sound, but had problems with the in line volume control for the microphone - it simply refused to work (Windows 10) so the microphone level was much too low. In the end I bought a cable splitter and just use them with the simple 3.5 mm jack connector (the ‘smart' in line controls are in...
