Gaming headsets are never this comfortable

HyperX's Cloud Alpha is the first gaming headset with dual-chamber drivers -- one dedicated to bass and the other for mids and highs -- designed to deliver a fuller sound. But that's not what you'll first notice about the Cloud Alpha. No, the salient takeaway is comfort. My ears have never known such luxury.

Dual-chamber audio, an affordable price and comfortable earmuffs? HyperX's Cloud Alpha is a nifty deal.

I have no complaints about this headset, it still works like it's brand new 3 years later. I love being able to detach the mic. After nearly 3 full years of use the first set of pleather ear pads did finally wear out enough that I got rid of them, but no other issues.

Solid build quality; Comfy for long periods once it's broken in; Good sound quality (if you have a sound card that can power the ohms; Never had any complaints about the mic; Detachable mic; Excellent packaging; unboxing was fun

For the price none

It is a premium headset and gives very good audio output. You will easily feel the difference once you use it. If you are looking for a very good headset the HyperX cloud headset is worth checking.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset Review

Usage & Final Thoughts When I first put on the HyperX Cloud Revolver the first thing that I thought was that they were really loose on my head. This all has to do with the design and the flexible headband.

– Steel frame design; – Very comfortable; – Can be used on mobile devices; PC; and PS4; – Great sound quality; – Removable microphone

– Some audio bleed into the microphone

Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset

Kingston may have channeled their inner Frank Sinatra when they made the HyperX Cloud Revolver, as the result leaves them singing with confidence, "I did it my way!"

Although this headset blurs the lines between a gaming and audiophile headphone, it still is definitely a gaming headphone primarily. However, it is a really good one at that and it is even a really good headphone for those of you who want to listen to music or watch movies too especially with the...

It's better than any other headset I've tried at the same price, however, the Cloud II wins out in every field. With the Cloud II's improved sound, comfort and microphone quality, I would strongly suggest spending the extra $20 - $30 or so in investing in the upgraded edition.

The feel; Comfort in the long-run; Easy to clean

Size issues; The microphone; The ear cups; PRICING; United States; HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset retails for $67.49 at Amazon; Canada; HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset retails for CDN$79.00 at Amazon Canada

Kingston HyperX Cloud Review

There are a lot of gaming headsets that you can buy for $100, but we can only think of a few candidates that can truly match the Kingston HyperX Cloud on performance and overall design.

Utilitarian design; Aluminum build; Soft padding; Interchangeable ear pads; Durable braided cables; Useful bundled accessories; Large 53mm drivers; Outstanding audio quality for its price; Affordable for what it has to offer

Rubber cap on line-out port can easily get lost; Detachable microphone could be better
