Amazing hardware.

HTC Vive is an amazing bit of kit that brings brilliant immersion. Not only is it for gamers as it can be used for creative purposes or simply watching a movie in your own personal cinema.

easy to set up.

In the end I did not use the stands but will keep them should i change rooms, The steam set up tutorial was easy to follow. I have played elite dangerous on a monitor but in VR it is breathtaking the three D effect makes it seem real you can walk about your ship and look out of the windows at...

HTC Vive headset & controllers

A wonderful three-dimensional experience that will take not only gaming platforms but I could see it bringing educational software to life. Good service as always from JL

"Didn't realize you had to drill stuff into the wall (more or les"

Yeah, comes with 2 square things that need to be 2 meters up, it's not just a headset you can put on and install. Tons o' wires requiring at least 3 wall plugs and then it remains on while the computer is on, there is no off switch so you have to unplug the headset to shut it down.

Breaks.

It is a wonderful technlogy that will break for no reason after a few months of use. One of my sensor broke. It's usual for that brand I saw on the net... very disappointed.

HTC Vive review

If you have the budget, the HTC Vive is the best virtual reality experience on the market, bar none.

Best VR experience; Intuitive controls; Software partnership with Valve;

Still a bit pricey...; Requires a high-end GPU; Less comfortable than the Rift

HTC VIVE Review

Most people old enough to have known past VR flops came to "VR 2.0" this with a good dose of skepticism. The early Rift demos in 2013 provided a proof of concept , and things kept getting better from there on .

HTC's Vive is Virtual Reality at its Best and Worst

For the past five days, I've spent nearly as much time in virtual reality as real reality. My calves ache and my neck is sore, but all in all I've had a pretty good time. I've been using the Vive, an ambitious new virtual reality system created by HTC and Valve.
