HTC VIVE Pro Virtual Reality Headset Upgrade

If you can afford it. It's amazing quality, very comfort, easily adjusted for glasses, 2K O-LED display, built-in earphones, and well balanced on the head. Takes what's already good with the original HTC Vive and makes it's so much better. So much clearer and sharp readable text, etc.

When the Vive and the Oculus Rift came out in the spring of 2016, they did something incredible: they made VR actually worth caring about. Previously, the closest thing people had come to virtual reality were weird sci-fi movies or half-baked products like the Virtual Boy .

More comfortable to wear; higher resolution optics; more streamlined design Built-in headphones don't fit super tight; expensive

HTC Vive Pro Video Review – Room-Scale VR To The Max

The original HTC Vive launched just two short years ago, and now HTC is back with a significantly enhanced version of its revolutionary VR headset. perfect

ordered all the way from Saudi Arabia, the shipment took less than estimated and the customer support were kind and fast, the Vive pro itself works great I would order more stuff in the future.

HTC Vive Pro review: Virtual reality without the rough, blurry edges

At $799 for just the headset, the HTC Vive Pro is probably destined to remain a niche product.

Increased resolution; You can finally read text, Counterweight offsets the display, Folds in the rigid design and headphones from last year's Deluxe...

Expensive; even for VR; Built-in headphones are fine; but not as impressive as HTC touts; Counterweight sticks out a bunch and can make seated VR...

Comparing many maufacturers and Vive Pro is at the top

I wanted NOT to like this. It does help getting an open box at Micro but still costly. At first I hated it but in the end it was that I'd gotten used to Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) Portal. Steam has it's own idiosyncrasies and the Vive too has it's own. You need to get used to each for a few hours.

Good upgrade

Ok if you have spare cash and well into vr I would defo Recommend this. One major thing from the vive to the pro is being able to read The writing clearly in vr. The clarity of games seems so much better and you soon get use to the display.

I was disappointed to find that I really couldn't do anything with just the headset alone. I guess its my fault for not doing the research but my assumption was that after spending over 800 on a headset, I would receive controllers and the required devices to actually use it.

HTC Vive Pro review: VR elevated in every way… especially the price

The Pro is a definite improvement, but it's only a v1.5 stop gap until the truly next-generation VR devices start to appear and an unfeasibly expensive one at that.

Full HTC Vive Pro kit up for UK pre-order for an eye-watering £1299

Although the Vive Pro was released back in March, you could previously only buy the headset. You'd then have to purchase motion controllers and base stations separately. The only problem is its price.
