HP 7740 Wide Format

So far this is really awesome. I got it installed and it is running very well for me. it has a lot of cool features (like setting the printer to turn on and off at set times) plus printing on front and back.

Good printer

Copier, Scanner, Scans 11x17, Color Printer, ADF The printer was easy to set up; Wireless printing was easy to configure; I like that it scans/prints 11x17, even though I don't print that size very often; Printing is pretty quick; It also has ethernet for hard wired connections.

Not really a con; but this thing is huge

Goofy 11 x 17 paper drawer sticks and looks ridiculous

Print quality is fine. Toner is expensive. And the printer looks truly stupid with bottom tray sticking out not closed when you load 11 x 17 paper which it is supposedly designed for.

HP OfficeJet Pro 7740

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 ($249.99) is a hefty all-in-one inkjet that can handle printing, copying, and scanning documents up to 11 by 17 inches, and can fax letter-size documents as well.

Fast; Low price; Above-par output across the board; Good text quality; PCL and PostScript drivers; Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and wireless direct connectivity; ADF supports single-pass two-sided scanning

Relatively large and heavy; Doesn't have the lowest running costs in its class

This snappy and competitively priced wide-format AIO prints, copies, and scans well, but high running costs keep it from top billing.

Supports tabloid-size printing; scanning; copying; Good print; scan; copy quality; Relatively fast; Plenty of mobile features; Two large input drawers; 35-sheet single-pass duplexing ADF

High cost per page; Small output tray

HP OfficeJet Pro 7740

Having recently told you about an A3 printer that was little bigger than an A4 unit here this is not only larger and faster it has two built in paper trays and can easily serve a whole office via Wi-Fi and Ethernet and even print remotely.

HP All in one 7740

I have not purchase a HP printer in many years. This is a very good low price machine. The resolution is great, the software is eary (Scanning) and the machine is fast. No remorse with this purchase.

HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Review

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 ($249.99) is a hefty all-in-one inkjet that can handle printing, copying, and scanning documents up to 11 by 17 inches, and can fax letter-size documents as well. Similar in price, paper capacity, and maximum duty cycle to the Editors' Choice Brother MFC-J5720DW ($1,299.99 at Amazon) , the 7740 has good enough speed and output quality to replace that capable Brother printer as our current Editors' Choice. Design and Features The 7740 is large and heavy, measuring 15.1 by 23 by 18 inches (HWD) and weighing 42.9 pounds, so it's best kept on a table or bench of its own and moved by two people. Its standard paper capacity is 500 sheets of up to tabloid-size (11-by-17) paper, split between two 250-sheet trays. It has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages and a recommended monthly duty cycle of up to 1,500 sheets. It includes an auto-duplexer for two-sided printing. On top of the 7740 are a flatbed, which can scan paper up to legal size, and a 35-sheet...

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 all-in-one inkjet has a winning combination of low price, excellent output quality, and the ability to print, scan, and copy documents up to tabloid size (11 by 17).
