Don't buy HP calculators made in China

I am a long-time user of HP financial and scientific calculators, including 12b, 17bII, and 11. HP 17bII calculators deserve a 5 star rating IF -- big IF -- they are manufactured anywhere, except China.

Brings back memories of DOS days

Determine what you need to calculate, and try to find simplest calculator that can handle the job. "Menu" driven is not always easier in a limited calculator space!

Very good financial tool

Great improvement over of the classic HP12C. More powerful and faster. All basic functions are easy to find and to handle. Other functions are under menu driven tools. It could be a little smaller to fit the pocket though.

Best Calculator for students in financial management. It helped me save time during my exams. The tutorial book gives enough information to start and there are a lot of tutorials on the web.
