I've owned Samsung products for the past five years, beginning with the Galaxy S3, then the Note 4, and finally the S7 Edge. I was happy with the S3 and the Note 4, but the S7 Edge was terrible.

For years now, I've said the best Android phone would be an iPhone running the operating system. The Pixel XL finally delivers on that. Sure, it's a very similar design (people always ask me if it's the 7 Plus), but it's also a design that works.
Firstly i would like to request Everyone to ignore all the negative comments in here. I use every phone in real depth and i give all the feedbacks after the benchmark results of the devices. Comparing this device with iPhones is completely rubbish.
Best camera ever; Best Android phone; Great operating system; Great RAM management; Amazing display; Great battery backup; Strong device; Fastest Android experience ever
No front firing speakers; Lager down bezels
I literally lost my job because of this phone. Second day on it, I found the setting to have the phone vibrate when getting a phone call is off by default, even if the phone is set to silent. I missed some important phone calls.
This phone arrived literally a week ago (on a Thursday). I powered it up but didn't switch the SIM card over until Tuesday (today is Thursday, two days later). 1. Most troublesome: I enter my PIN and the screen just goes black, makes me enter the PIN, repeatedly, I can't get into the phone. 2.

Pixel XL has some solid hardware packed in a sweet and simple exterior casing. Only issue with the phone was with its inbuilt mic which stopped working after two months of the purchase (not from Amazon). HTC is the original manufacturer and it took a week for them to "repair" the phone.
Smoothest device I have ever owned. The only thing I can complain about is it's not waterproof. I went from the Note 7 to the Pixel XL and haven't regretted it at all.
Everything
Not waterproof
The Google Pixel XL is a very good smartphone. However, its core feature, the Google Assistant, is not a decisive reason to buy it. Above all, it does not justify the price which the manufacturer charges for its product.
good display, high-end build quality, LTE Cat; 11, fast WiFi, excellent voice quality, great cameras, low SAR values
no Dual-SIM; no microSD support; PWM; SoC throttling
Nexus is dead, and Pixel is here to replace it. It's the biggest shift in Google's homegrown smartphone strategy since the first Nexus launch in 2010. Google executives have assured this will be one to remember, and the company has begun an advertising campaign bigger than anything they've done...
The best smartphone camera available; The best Android software experience yet; Snappy performance; Fantastic high-resolution display; Decent battery life
Lacks water resistance, wireless charging, and microSD card slot; Expensive; (Subjectively) ugly design
