Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player

For $35 and a little practice, this is the best streaming solution available to date.

Streams full-screen videos from Netflix and YouTube; Mirrors Websites; Control videos from computer or mobile device

Must go to Chromecast Website to learn when new apps become compatible; No central control panel or app; Clumsy to pause video streaming from a phone when a call comes in

Chromecast

is the bee's knees. Guess you can tell that I am antiquated and somewhat computer illiterate. Can someone tell me how to insert closed captioning into the movies?

Good Product

I use my Chromecast mostly to watch "watch ESPN" on my TV instead of my phone. It works great. I can set it up and "cast" a game, then use other apps on my phone while it's still streaming to my TV. It works really well with youtube as well.

Streams media easily for peanuts

Has been said many times before but this is a great little device for the money instantly turning any TV with a HDMI port into a smart telly. It does a great job of playing media streams on your TV from a chrome browser, Android and Apple IOS devices.

Went down well with a teenager

Was a present for my 13 year old daughter. I did not know what it really does do but she certainly did. Now I have to get her off it..... So guess it was a great buy

Google's Chromecast

Low cost; cross-platform: works with Android, iOS, Chrome OS, Mac and Windows; lets you put nearly any online video on your TV; small form factor, very portable

Low cost; cross-platform: works with Android, iOS, Chrome OS, Mac and Windows; lets you put nearly any online video on your TV; small form factor, very portable,

No iOS setup at launch, but Google says it's coming; crashes and errors if your Wi-Fi network isn't fast enough; native app support limited to Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Music and Google Play Movies & TV at first, but an SDK will let developers add support to more apps

Great little device

Great device at an attractive price. Primarily using for Netflix streaming, and can not fault it. Easy to install and configure, and simple to use with compatible applications.

Terrific product

I wasn't sure that this device would work with my multi-computer setup. It works like a dream. I can operate all my systems from a laptop and see everything on the big screen. I am thrilled with the product. Thanks guys.

An amazing piece of Creation & Absolute VALUE FOR MONEY !!!

This is by far the most amazing product i have bought in years that kind of makes all my devices now work and operate at my levels and convenience. The Google Chromecast is firstly : PROS: 1. Absolute Value for money 2. Seamless 3. When Compared to an Apple Tv - its compact 4.
