Garmin vivofit 3

The Garmin vivofit 3 is perfect for people who want to start using a fitness tracker and just need basic information. Using MoveIQ technology, it detects what type of exercise you're doing (for example, running, biking, or dancing) and tracks your activity based on that.

Battery lasts over 1 year; Water-resistant; Display is always on; Inactivity Bar shows how long you've been still; Sets an attainable step goal based on your activity level; Move IQ senses the type of exercise

No heart rate monitoring; Testers said sleep tracking was inaccurate

Great for the price! Love it because I can do water aerobics with it! The first one did not work correctly but this one is great.

"A tracker you don't have to charge everyday !!"

One of the main problem with wearable tech is battery shelf life. We already have smart phones we have charge them every day, we don't want a watch that required the same thing. Garmin Vivofit 3 avoids this problem by keeping its features simple and its tech super-efficient, for battery life of up...

Software not as fun as; No phone notifications,Not as pretty as alternatives

Ok

Bought for my husband's birthday as it was a good price. Having a Fitbit myself I thought that this would be just as good. Sadly I was wrong. The face is very small and the readings not very bright making them difficult to read. I recommend you pay the extra for a Fitbit.

Keeps me moving

Purchased this after my niece got one for Christmas and really liked it. It is comfortable to wear 24/7 and I like that it reminds me to get up and move more throughout the day. It was easy to sync to the app on my phone.

Garmin Vivofit 3

Garmin has given the original Vivofit a makeover. The screen on the Vivofit 3 has been shrunken down to a tiny square you can pop into other bands for a brand new look. It also adds a new Intensity Minutes metric and includes automatic activity detection for bicycling, running, swimming, and...

Comfortable; Tracks calories, distance, intensity, sleep, and steps; Waterproof; Long battery life

Cheap-looking design; Small, dim screen; Slow to automatically register activity; Doesn't count stairs climbed; Drab and cluttered app
