We bought this for our 2nd grader. After we see it from friends. It surely motivate him to do his tasks. The price of the watch is quite expensive. Luckily we have target GC, else I don't think I will buy.

This is our second Garmin vivofit. We love the upgrades in the "2" color screen is nice. Tracks sleep, activity and is a great watch with an easy timer for children to use.
My 10 yr old son loves it. He likes that it is waterproof, so he can wear it to shower and swimming. He can track his activity and it also shows the time. He loves it and have not taken it off since we got it. He is afriad of losing it. His younger brother brought the star wars model.
This is an excellent product that keeps my children active. It has curbed behaviour due to the coins that can be given for good behaviour etc. You can add treats which I allow my children to spent their coins on. It is easy to use and both my boys love them.
A great watch and goal-setting device, not just for fitness but great for homework and chore reminders. Motivates children with game and reward system. My six year old loves the timer for teeth cleaning and the missions within the app. My three year old is dying for one now too.
The Garmin Vivofit jr 2 is the company's second generation fitness tracker that's back once again to get kids to keep active. Just like Garmin's trackers for grown-ups ( Vivofit 4 or the Vivosport ) it covers the basics like counting steps and monitoring sleep.
Comfortable to wear; Nice Disney-themed designs; Chores and rewards system
Quickly lost interest in adventure game; Some features need an adult to set up; Not the brightest display
This fun fitness tracker is a great way to introduce exercise regimes and help kids and teens establish healthy habits
Easy to use; great display; fun variety of appearances
Mediocre set of fitness tracking abilities; limited health impact; Mediocre set of fitness tracking abilities; limited health impact
I was looking for an activity tracker since the kids are always bugging me to wear my Fitbit. I was weighing this against another (made by a toy mfr) but we are so happy with the Garmin! 1) it has Disney characters on it.
The Vivofit Jr 2 is very, very good, but whether it will persuade your kids to be more active is debatable. The main difficulty you'll have is you'll need an iron will as a parent to get your kids to wear it all the time and to abide by the rules you set up on it.
Packed with features; Effective and easy to use; Lightweight and comfortable
Pricey; In-app "game" is weak
My 9 year old daughter received this for Christmas! Has not taken it off!! She is always trying to beat her steps from the previous days! She loves to get her fitness goals. I'm excited she loves it so much!
