Garmin Vivoactive 4s

Garmin created the best alternative to the Apple Watch when it came out with the Vivoactive 3 Music . For 2019, Garmin has updated that device with the Vivoactive 4 series , which includes the 45mm Vivoactive 4 and the 40mm Vivoactive 4s.

Streamlined; round case design; Music storage is now standard; Optional all-day pulse ox; NFC for Garmin Pay; New Breathwork exercises aren't your standard guided breathing techniques; Added shortcut lets you access your most-used widget more easily; Good battery life

On-screen animations not available for custom workouts; Canned message replies are available for Android users; Downloading Connect IQ apps and watch faces is a slow process

Fantastic watch

A great waych, now with many of the features of the higher end fenix range but a a much lower price. Bought this for my wife. Very light weight and small enough for ladies with a amaller wrist

Battery Life over features

I had a Moto360 before this one and I am disappointed with the screen pixels but I suppose that's the sacrifice for battery life

Overrated

Battery doesnt last long (not even a full day if you have all settings turned on) The move IQ feature is not very intelligent and you cant see the details recorded on the my day stats page of app for any move IQ. Changed from a Fitbit to Garmin due to reviews but feel the Fitbit is so much better in terms of accurate auto recording of exercise and presenting data in app. Also the user guide doesnt tell you how to change settings, had to google multiple times just to figure out how to turn features off or on to save battery life. Wish I could return and get money back as its not worth the price at all. Get a Fitbit, its half the price and user friendly.

Excellent

After lots of research, I am very pleased with this purchase. It has all the features I need. The light and slim design makes it very wearable all day and night.
