The biggest complaint that we heard from consumers with the Garmin vivoactive HR was that it looked too much like a sport watch with its boxy design and plastic/silicone materials. Garmin clearly heard the same story and has now totally redesigned the vivoactive 3 with a round face.

Garmin Vivoactive 3's predecessor - the Vivoactive HR - was a great multisport watch; so good, in fact, that I went out and bought myself one. It isn't the prettiest-looking thing, but it excels at tracking a range of activities, it supports external sensors, including external heart-rate monitors...

I use this watch to track my heart rate while running. The GPS works great any tracks my route accurately. Device paired up with my Google earbuds easily. Watch is so comfortable I tend to forget I have it on. As for pricing, you can't beat Crutchfield's price.

It was about time for Garmin to enter the market with a touchscreen fitness/smart watch. Tracking is accurate so far. A lot of preloaded activities. You can also create your own. Some improvements can be made in the strength training but I understand is kind of hard to track all exercises in a gym.

I bought the watch on thanksgiving sale and so far it seems good value for money. I have used it for outdoor running and pool swim. The garmin vivoactive 3 is a great running watch. This is my 4th garmin watch and it is definitely my favorite. It looks great and functions very well.
