A Perfect Camera for Me

I just moved over completely to the Fuji system this year. It started innocently enough - I bought the XPro2 with the 23 mm f/2 as my second camera - a walking around camera with a 35mm equivalent lens (I also got the 35mm f/2, so I had my two most used full-frame equivalent prime focal lengths, 35...

In short, the Fujifilm X-T2 just didna€?t sit with me. All of it is of course just personal preference based on how I like my cameras. And the X-T2 is a great camera, truly fantastic. Its just that with expensive gear like this I get very, very picky. On cheaper cameras I would let it all slide.

If you will check your own adds, you will see that the fujifilm Xpro2 is only available for pre-order. I do have it on pre- order, but do not have any idea when I might get it. However my experience with fujifilm cameras and lenses has been most positive, I can't wait for the Xpro to be available.

Oh my god how I love this camera

Oh my god how I love this camera. It's lightening fast, silent and weighs next to nothing. I'm a wedding photographer using Nikon but I'm switching all my kit for this beauty. Love love love.

Great IQ, lovely feel in the hand, get to know your manual.

Having been hooked by the quality of the X100S lens and Fuji IQ, I wanted to taste Fuji's quality affordable all-metal lenses, and enjoy 24mp and eye detection. You can Google "Gorgeous Fuji color" to see why I like the pictures, although when it comes to the funky film simulations, the B&W ACROS...

but there was probably a good reason I skipped the whole DSLR peak

My first camera coming from the EOS350D and EOS66 film camera. Having said that, I may not have had other cameras, but there was probably a good reason I skipped the whole DSLR peak. It was probably the size, and costs of that whole ecosystem of cameras.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 review

Fujifilm's X-Pro2 takes the beloved rangefinder-style body that launched the X-mount and makes a raft of significant upgrades. Some may have been gradually deployed on more recent models or with firmware updates, but there's also a lot that's genuinely new here, and it all adds up to a comfortably...

Superb image quality – best in class for APSC OOC; Innovative hybrid viewfinder; Broad array of embedded PDAF points for good CAF; Weatherproof construction; Dual memory card slots and AF joystick; Built-in Wifi with good smartphone control

Screen doesn't articulate and isn't touch-sensitive; Basic three frame AE bracketing; No 4k video and limited movie control; No USB charging in-camera; EV dial easily turned when removing from bag

Fujifilm X-Pro2

In the five years since the introduction of Fujifilm's X-Pro1 , the mirrorless camera space has improved by leaps and bounds. The long-awaited X-Pro2 ($1,699, body only) takes everything that photographers love about its predecessor and improve upon it.

Quick focus and 8.2fps burst shooting; Large buffer; Unique hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder; Focus selection joystick; Film emulation modes; All-weather build; Dual SD slots; Wi-Fi

Optical viewfinder not well-suited for telephoto lenses; Fixed LCD doesn't support touch input; Video limited to 1080p; Omits built-in flash; Expensive
