Must use it to appreciate it.

First I was not sure about how it would look on the beautiful camera. But it will be totally in my palm and can't really see when I hold up the camera. Without this grip, camera may be too small to hold with one hand without the grip. It is a must for me, coming from DSLR.

Very Solid

Scratch & Dent Fuji XE1

Product came as advertised in original box w/accessories. So far working fine. Good price. Was surprised it had black tape covering up model & name but all was well after removed.

Came as advertised and at a good price

Shipping to a bit longer than expected; but may be summer

Fujifilm X-E1 review

It came as no surprise that on the back of the success Fujifilm had with its fashionable rangefinder-style FinePix X100, the company should announce what is effectively an interchangeable-lens version in the form of the X-Pro1. What is perhaps surprising is just how good the newer model is.

Great camera. Images are razor sharp and nicely saturated. Pretty much every feature you need from a camera like this.

The latest camera to hit the shelves is Fujifilm X-E1 digital camera. This new camera is the latest addition in the Fujifilm's interchangeable lens X series. It has omitted the hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder and includes an improved and extremely sharp OLED EVF.

Improved auto-focus; Stylish and retro design; Excellent high ISO images; Top-notch controls; Stunning image quality

No touchscreen; Fixed rear LCD; Build quality not up to the mark; AF performance could have been better

A Decent Slr

I bought this camera for WildLife photography as I love to trek. This camera is very portable and also takes great photos. The lens kit provided helps me take night photos easily which was an expected feature.

On first glance, the Fujifilm X-E1 looks right out of the eighties when cameras were compact affairs with faux leather bodies and grips, and dozens of dials and buttons that one could fiddle around with to ensure that one got the perfect shot and did not waste the valuable film.

Fujifilm FinePix X-E1 Review

When Fujifilm released the X-E1 it's clear that the company has one thing in mind, and that is to polish some of the rough edges that critics pointed out on the X-Pro1. Well, they didn't have to do much as the X-Pro1 is already regarded by many as one of the sleekest MILC in the market.

When Fujifilm launched the X-Pro1 in Australia a year ago it emphasised that it was a "first camera option", meaning it wasn't intended to merely supplement a D-SLR, but to replace it completely. The price tag – similar to that of a higher-end D-SLR – helped underline the X-Pro1's frontline status.
