Instax Mini Link review

Are all the features on this device necessary? Probably not. But there's definitely something fun to explore with the Instax Mini Link that other instant printers don't offer - though the lack of social media integration is something that the company should definitely rethink. Overall this is a simple printer to use, offering great quality photos for the user with customisable options for a more creative experience. However, if these fluffy features aren't of any interest, we recommend spending that little bit more for a camera-printer hybrid.

A great kit and a fantastic present idea.

If you're interested in getting an Instax camera but are hesitant, I recommend you give this printer a look. You get the benefits of using photos with your phone (so you don't waste any film) but the photos are still printed on the adorable film!

Back to old school! Get pictures OFF your phone

I have around 16,000 photos on my phone ridiculous right? I thought so so I wondered if there was such a thing as a phone printer. Well there is and I have had fun bringing some photos back into the real world. Easy to use quick and efficient, I enjoy using this and I haven’t used all the different effects yet...

Much better than a camera!

I can print photos I know I like rather than being uncertain of each photo. Quality isn’t the best but still really convenient and love my little photos :)

Very convenient

This printer is very convenient and it prints out really quickly. The quality is only as good as the quality of your digital image, so overall it's good. The app has some features like party mode which are a bit gimmicky and i don't use very much, but having a portable printer is way better than an instax mini camera.

Fujifilm Instax Mini Link Review

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Link ($99.95) is a simple, battery-powered printer that works with your smartphone. Unlike competitors that typically use low-quality heat-sensitive thermal materials to print, the Mini Link opts for instant film. The chemical process nets crisper detail and much truer color than Zink alternatives, though it does cost a little bit more per print. The higher-quality output is worth it, though if you don't mind spending more, don't forget about the Instax Share SP-3, a similar printer that makes bigger, square-format images.Three Color Options The Instax Mini Link is small enough to slide into a pocket or handbag. It measures 4.1 by 2.0 by 0.9 inches (HWD) and weighs 8.7 ounces when loaded with a full pack of Instax Mini film. The exterior is lightweight plastic, available in Ash White, Dark Denim, or Dusty Pink. Molded ridges improve its aesthetics, and make it easier to hold onto when you're moving it about. The printer is purely portable—it works with sma...

Fujifilm Instax Mini Link hands-on review: Wiggle it

Despite what OutKast said, shaking instant film is actually bad for the photo. But perhaps Lil Jon was correct when he said to wiggle it. When you wiggle Fujifilm’s new Instax Mini Link mobile printer, it performs tricks, like zooming in or changing modes. The Mini Link uses the same Instax Mini instant film as Fujifilm’s Instax cameras, but prints straight from your phone. It even adds a few motion-control options, including flipping the printer to change the print mode. The Instax Mini Link is basically the Instax Mini LiPlay, minus the camera functionality. Using Bluetooth, it turns digital images stored on your phone into instant photographic prints with a 2.4 x 1.8-inch image area. The Mini Link can print a photo or a frame from a video in your phone’s camera roll, or it can control your phone’s camera directly using the Instax Camera mode within the app. With image quality being limited to the print medium itself (in this case, Instax Mini film), choosing a mobile printer comes d...
